Ring Preview Event

Order your class ring! Jostens will be on campus with exclusive in-store preview deals on class rings.


Grad Fair

Tuesday, April 2, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Simplot Ballroom

Take care of your graduation needs in one spot. Purchase your regalia, order announcements and class rings. Vendors will include Boise State Alumni Association, Bronco Tec, Bronco Gallery and others.


Shout Outs

Tuesday, April 2, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Simplot Ballroom

Record your free shout out during the Grad Fair. It will be played before the ceremony begins and is your chance to send a personal message of appreciation to your guests in the audience.


Veterans Cords

Tuesday, April 2, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Simplot Ballroom

If you are an active-duty military member or veteran who has proudly served in the United States Armed Forces, you are invited to wear the Americana cord at commencement.

Get your cord at the Grad Fair on April 2 or at the Veteran Services Office April 3–May 10.


International Graduation Celebration

Wednesday, May 1, 3-5 p.m. Student Union Building, Hatch Ballroom

The International Graduation Celebration is an event highlighting the many different countries and cultures here at Boise State. The ceremony honors Boise State’s graduating international students, departing exchange students, study abroad alumni, and Peace Corps Prep program participants.

The event will include guest speakers, student testimonials, and a country sash and certificate of completion ceremony. This is not a formal cap and gown ceremony. Please feel free to dress in your traditional country attire. There will be a fun, interactive photo booth and cupcakes too!

Rainbow Graduation

Wednesday, May 1, 6-8 p.m. Student Union Building, Simplot B-D Ballroom

Celebrate the achievements of LGBTQIA+ and allied graduates, enjoy a delicious dinner, and mingle with friends at this festive reception. Graduates who would like to be honored should RSVP here by April 24. Everyone is welcome.


Twin Falls Graduation

Wednesday, May 8, 5:30 p.m. College of Southern Idaho Fine Arts Auditorium

Boise State’s outreach location in Twin Falls is hosting the 23rd annual commencement ceremony to honor graduates who have participated in in-person courses on the CSI campus or through online Boise State programs.


First Forward Graduation Ceremony

Thursday, May 9, 6 p.m. Student Union Building, Jordan Ballroom

This celebration honors the accomplishments of students who are the first members of their families to graduate from college. In addition to receiving a first generation cord, students will have an opportunity to thank someone who supported them during their collegiate journey.

School of Nursing Convocation

Friday, May 10, 4–6 p.m. Student Union Building, Jordan Ballroom

Convocation provides an opportunity for nursing graduates to share their excitement and academic accomplishment with faculty, staff, fellow students, family, and friends at a special ceremony.

Each student is recognized individually as they walk across the stage in their full graduation regalia, with the opportunity to invite an honored guest to walk beside them. This person can be a parent, friend, partner, child, or faculty member who has significantly impacted their life and their education.

Convocation includes remarks from the School of Nursing Director and College of Health Sciences Dean. The ceremony features a keynote speaker and often includes recognition of special friends and donors of the School of Nursing. At the conclusion of the ceremony, nursing students and registered nurses in the audience will join together to recite the Nursing Oath.


Black Graduation

Friday, May 10, 6 p.m. Alumni and Friends Center

Boise State University warmly invites this year’s graduates—including winter and spring graduates—who identify as Black for the second annual Black Graduation ceremony.
