Grad Fair

Tuesday, November 13, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Hatch Ballroom

Take care of your graduation needs in one spot. Purchase your regalia, order announcements and class rings. Vendors will include Boise State Alumni Association, Bronco Tec, Bronco Gallery and others.

Shout Outs

Tuesday, November 13, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Alexander

Record your free shout out during the Grad Fair. It will be played before the ceremony begins and is your chance to send a personal message of appreciation to your guests in the audience.

Veterans Cords

Tuesday, November 13, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Student Union Building, Hatch Ballroom

If you are an active-duty military member or veteran who has proudly served in the United States Armed Forces, you are invited to wear the Americana cord at commencement.

Get your cord at the Grad Fair on November 13 or at the Veteran Services Office November 14–December 14.

International Graduation Celebration

Wednesday, December 5, 3:30-5 p.m. Student Union Building, Hatch Ballroom

The International Graduation Celebration is an event highlighting the many different countries and cultures here at Boise State. The ceremony honors Boise State’s graduating international students, departing exchange students, study abroad alumni, and Peace Corps Prep program participants.

The event will include guest speakers, student testimonials, and a country sash and certificate of completion ceremony. This is not a formal cap and gown ceremony. Please feel free to dress in your traditional country attire. There will be a fun, interactive photo booth and cupcakes too!

Cupcakes and Cords

Thursday, December 6, 5-7:30 p.m. Gender Equity Center

All are welcome to enjoy cupcakes and light hors d’oeuvres at this drop-in style reception honoring the achievements of LGBTQIA+ December 2018 graduates. Rainbow cords and pins available for LGBTQIA+ and allied graduates.

First Forward Graduation Ceremony

Thursday, December 13, 5-7 p.m. Student Union Building, Jordan Ballroom

This celebration honors the accomplishments of students who are the first members of their
families to graduate from college. In addition to receiving a first generation cord, students will
have an opportunity to thank someone who supported them during their collegiate journey.
