Advising and Academic Enhancement – Boise State University is committed to providing high quality academic and career advising to students in all academic programs. Advising and Academic Enhancement provides information and support to all undergraduate students and oversees tutorial services and academic advising for undecided students.
Center for Teaching and Learning – The Center for Teaching and Learning was founded in July 2006 with the vision that it be the nucleus of a university culture that values teaching and learning. The Center serves all instructors who care about the learning environment they create for students. It fosters dialogue, scholarship, innovation, and excellence in learner-centered teaching. Academic Technologies and the Service Learning Program are divisions of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Academic Technologies provides educational and communications technology and services in support of teaching, learning, and communicating. The Service Learning Program fosters citizenship and enhances learning through active involvement in academically-based community service.
Foundational Studies Program – The Foundational Studies Program is an integrated learning experience that illustrates Boise State University’s commitment to undergraduate education. The Program’s distinctive features establish the University as a leader in empowering students and enabling them to achieve academic excellence. The Program emphasizes the kinds of inquiry central to higher education, creating opportunities to explore important subjects, ask questions, research, innovate, and solve problems. The Foundational Studies Program offers a shared experience that unifies our diverse student body and expands students’ awareness of themselves and their world.
International Learning Opportunities – International Learning Opportunities offers opportunities for students to participate in study abroad, the National Student Exchange and other international learning opportunities. Additionally, this office supports Boise State faculty with USAC teaching abroad applications, Fulbright scholars, fosters international collaboration in scholarly endeavors, and facilitates the development of international cooperative agreements.
STEM Station – The STEM Station at Boise State University is where students, faculty and staff make connections and explore new directions to STEM success. The Station involves a consortium of National Science Foundation STEM education initiatives and research, along with campus partners, that support STEM students, faculty, and staff as they connect, engage and succeed in STEM education and careers.
