Graduate Council

This council shall supervise all graduate offerings of the University determining that curricular changes be compatible with existing programs, feasible under given circumstances, and consistent with the educational objectives of Boise State University under state and federal law. The Council shall be concerned with all matter of policy and procedures of the Graduate College.

The Graduate Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 1:35 P.M. from the middle of September through the 1st of May for one hour.

2009 - 2010 Charges to the Committee

  1. Every Committee should be constantly reexamining its own procedures and exploring problems to be brought to the attention of the Faculty Senate. Committees should not try to develop policies without first notifying the Senate of the broad outline of the problem under consideration.
  2. Address any other issues deemed by the Graduate Dean, Jack Pelton, to be of importance or necessary.
